The Chinese Culture Summer Camp was launched by the CICA in 2013, along with 14 children's centers and registered non-profit youth activity centers around China. The project aims to promote cultural exchanges among youngsters of different nationalities. The camp started during winter and summer vacations and public holidays, providing opportunities for international youths to learn more about Chinese culture.

The host center caters to different demands and provides cultural classes with distinct local character, including Chinese language, Chinese calligraphy and painting, music, dance and martial arts. Activities also include visits to places of natural and cultural interest, providing a unique learning experience.

The camp has hosted hundreds of children from a variety of countries, including France, Japan, Germany and Egypt. The project organized 15 kinds of theme activities, featuring Peking opera, chess, calligraphy, painting, martial arts, folk music and Chinese medicine, among other subjects.
