New crafts, plus oil paintings from Master Zeng Hao equals this year's fabulous lanterns, the Dunhuang flying fairies. This year, Zigong presents a new idea in lanterns, making figures with no metallic wires in their faces to make them vivid and lively. Though it's very challenging, the result is worth a visit.
