Recommended by China International Culture Association and China Literature and Art Foundation, a senior industrial artist Chen Yinghua went to Mauritius to launch a 20-day training course for embroidery at the invitation of China Cultural Center in Mauritius.

Chen introduced the students to the features of the four famous types of embroideries in China, and focused on her expertise, Su embroidery, which is famous for its extremely delicate stitches. She also explained the deeper culture and usage of this traditional embroidery in modern society, passing on the knowledge to the audience.

When the lecture was about to end, Chen presented an embroidery of a famous Chinese painting called Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival and explained its characteristics. This 12 meter delicate handicraft stunned the Mauritian students, and they all approved and respected Chinese embroidery.
